About The Team:
Great people, delectable memories. We are local experts who will help you along the way and share our Japanese experiences with you.
Arigato Japan was founded by husband and wife Anne and Matt Kyle. Anne Kyle, who was born and raised in the Philippines, has been living in Japan for almost twenty years and have been traveling around the world from 2006 to 2016. But in February of 2016, after founding Arigato Japan and sharing her experiences with tours to other people, she heard her true calling by helping locals and tourists learn more about Japan and its rich and colorful culture. Her husband, Matt Kyle, started his career in the sports field and is currently the commercial manager for Tricor Japan who helps foreign companies get into the Japanese market. He focuses on the direction and on the overall strategy of the company. Together, they help compose the perfect ingredients for the perfect food tour and let their visitors enjoy a great time eating their hearts out and experience Japan like home.
Since starting up and venturing out into the world of tours, Arigato Japan has met avid adventurers alike, TV personalities, popular personalities, and media bloggers who have helped spread the word of their tours. From being recommended by the British Airways (our Kyoto Nishiki Tour, that is!), to having great times with different bloggers like The Nomadic Boys and Aileen–who left their corporate lives in their homeland to pursue and travel the world, to being featured on travelling blogs like Travel with Nano B. to the experts from Streetfoodi. Arigato Japan has come a long way spreading the good words (and good food too!) to people.
Now, Arigato Japan is composed of almost a dozen of tour guides of different races, helping visitors from all over the world to fall in love with the culture of Japan and share a culinary journey that you will always remember.
