As three avid cooks from Australia, we all loved this experience! Emi was a wonderful host, very gracious in bringing us into her home and looking after us. She was a good teacher, but also a lovely woman to chat with about various things around Japan. While we all had attempted the foods before, it was really fun to learn a few traditional methods. Emi also gave great tips and tricks for each thing we made that you wouldn't really get anywhere else! I certainly think my next batch of Tempura or Gyoza will be better off after this class, and I'll definitely be trying to method she taught us for noodle dough (no spoilers, but very fun!). I think people of any cooking skill would get something out of this class, highly recommended!

Amo and Yoshi were wonderful hosts and amazing teachers! We had so much fun cooking gyoza and ramen with them and learned lots. They made us feel very welcome in their home, took us through the process of making Ramen and even gave us some local food recommendations for later!

We booked a cooking class for Udon, Tempura and Gyoza. What makes the class so special is the hands-on style of Emi and the opportunity to really experience the making of some comfortfood-dishes. We had no problem understanding Emi and we are excited to try the dishes at home. Thank you so much!

Had an amazing evening with Miko in Osaka. He was super fun, incredibly knowledgeable, and such a good guide. Cannot recommend this enough. It was a great way to not only get to know the food of Osaka better, but also learn more about its history.

The best night and a really enjoyable time with our wonderful guide Hiro. The tour was great, visiting interesting streets and eating stops, and the food plentiful and fabulous. Hiro was friendly, engaging, and great fun. He shared lots about life in Kyoto and Japan and answered our many questions. He communicated well and even offered to walk with us home to our accommodation. Thank you Hiro. We all highly recommend this great night out.
